Children

 

We welcome children and young families at St Mary's, and offer all sorts of activities: at church on Sundays, at groups throughout the week and at special events and clubs which take place during the year.

 

Children at St Mary's learn about friendship with Jesus through songs, Bible stories, prayer, craft and games.

 

Preschoolers

Toddlers in Church is a group for parents and carers with young children, and meets at 12:15pm on Thursdays in term time. A crèche (for under 3s) is available in the side chapel during the 11am service on Sundays.

 

Sunday Gang

Sunday Gang (for 3 to 11s) meets in St Mary's Room after family worship and prayers during the 11am service on Sundays in term time, apart from on Family Worship Sundays (usually the first Sunday of each month).

 

J Team

J Team (for 7 to 11s) meets on Tuesdays in term time between 5pm and 6:30pm in St Mary's Room. Cooking, gardening, arts, crafts, tuck shop, seasonal celebrations and more.

 

Special events

St Mary's runs a three-day holiday club every May half term and various other special events throughout the year. Click here to view photos from the Voyagers Holiday Club in May 2011.
