We welcome children and young families at St Mary's, and offer all sorts of activities: at church on Sundays, at groups throughout the week and at special events and clubs which take place during the year.
Children at St Mary's learn about friendship with Jesus through songs, Bible stories, prayer, craft and games.
A crèche (for under 3s) is available in the side chapel during the 11am service on Sundays.
Toddler Church is a service for parents and carers with young children, and meets at 12:15pm in the church, on Thursdays in term time. This is followed by lunch in St Mary's Room (£2.50).
Mums and Babes is a social group for new parents and babies (up to one year) who meet between 1:30pm and 3pm on Tuesdays in St Mary's Room.
Explorers (for 3 to 11s) meets in St Mary's Room after family worship and prayers during the 11am service on Sundays in term time, apart from on Family Worship Sundays (usually the first Sunday of each month).
St Mary's runs a three-day holiday club in May half term and various other special events throughout the year.
The four Billingshurst churches welcome families to Messy Church - fun, games, crafts, singing and stories for all to enjoy! Messy Church is usually held on the second Wednesday of each month, after school from 3:30pm to 5:45pm at Billingshurst Community & Conference Centre. All children must be accompanied by an adult. A sit down meal is provided.
St Mary's adheres to the Chichester Diocesan Child Protection Policy which includes the use of Criminal Records Bureau checks.
