St. Mary's gets a new Vicar!
We are very happy to announce that the
"I am married to Mary, and have two adult children Tim and Amy. Before ordination I worked in relief programmes at home and in Thailand. I trained for the ministry at St. John's Nottingham, after which I spent 8 years in parishes in Blackpool and Blackburn (where our children were born).
It's now 19 years since we moved from Lancashire to this corner of West Sussex, first to Slinfold and Itchingfield, and then West Chiltington. We're surprised and delighted to be staying in a part of the world that we know well and love. We are looking forward to moving to Billingshurst and sharing in the life at St. Mary's, and discovering together where God will be leading us as a church. We'd be grateful for your prayers for us as we prepare to leave behind some dear friends and treasured times in of present parish of West Chiltington, and move to forge new friendships amongst you all at St. Mary's."
St Mary's will remain in interregnum until the 24th November 2016 but through the wonderful clerical cover we continue to enjoy St. Mary's can still offer the usual services of a Parish Church: Sunday Worship, Weddings, Baptism and Funerals.
Please join with us in praying for David and his family as they prepare to join us here at St. Mary's.
Our sermons are recorded; listen again from the Sermons page.
